Pricing

One fee. Paid once. Nothing else.

We only get paid when you successfully hire. No subscription, no retainer, no ongoing commission on your freelancer's pay.

Our fee

10%

of the freelancer's agreed monthly rate — charged once, when you hire.

How the fee works

  • Charged only once, at the point of hire — not every month
  • Calculated as 10% of the monthly rate you and the freelancer agree on
  • No fee at all if you don't end up hiring anyone
  • No markup added to the freelancer's pay — you and they set the rate directly
  • No long-term contracts or lock-in with Hirelancer.agency
Example

What it looks like in practice

Smaller budget example

ItemAmount
Freelancer's agreed monthly rate₹30,000 / month
Hirelancer.agency fee (10%, one-time)₹3,000
What you pay us, total₹3,000 — once

Larger budget example

ItemAmount
Freelancer's agreed monthly rate₹80,000 / month
Hirelancer.agency fee (10%, one-time)₹8,000
What you pay us, total₹8,000 — once

In both cases, you then pay the freelancer their agreed monthly rate directly, every month, for as long as you work together — with no further fee to us.

No Surprises

What we don't charge for

No monthly retainer

We don't charge you anything on an ongoing basis after the hire is made.

No markup on freelancer pay

The rate you agree with your freelancer is exactly what they receive — we don't take a cut of it.

No fee to browse or interview

Getting matched and interviewing candidates costs nothing until you actually hire.

Pricing Questions

Common questions about the fee

When exactly do I pay the 10% fee?

After you've interviewed candidates and confirmed a hire — not before, and not if you decide not to proceed with anyone.

What if the freelancer and I later change the agreed rate?

The fee is calculated on the rate agreed at the time of hire. If your engagement scope changes later and the rate is renegotiated, that's between you and the freelancer directly.

Is there a refund if the freelancer doesn't work out?

Reach out to us if a placement isn't working — we'll discuss options on a case-by-case basis, which may include resourcing a replacement at no additional fee.

Do you take a cut of the freelancer's monthly pay going forward?

No. The 10% is a one-time matching fee. Every rupee you pay the freelancer afterward goes to them, in full.
